We had a good run friday at Fairmont, all the way til the last lap i ran 3rd or 4th of 7 cars in my heat, a attempted
pass in turn 2 by a fellow driver got me a little off line and i messed up and cost myself the transfer spot. So I had to
run the B, i started 6th and spent much of the race in 3rd or 4th spot, I got loose and slipped back to 6th, but 8 cars transfered to
the A Feature so I was in. I wound up 16th after a cut tire very early in the A Feature, 25 cars started the A.
In Algona I had a solid 5th place run of 7 cars in the heat race going til the last lap I got loose and spun on my own
and slipped to 6th. It was my first time at the track and I really enjoyed it. Its a hard track to race on, it is truly a
fun and challenging track and we will definately be going back! I made the A and finished 14th of 24 cars, I ran as high as
12th, there was a bad wreck involving 3 cars, thankfully all 3 drivers were OK after the wreck which included one car flipping
3 or 4 times down the backstrait, I was nearly involved in the accident, hopefully everyone can get their cars back together
and be ready for next week!
I would really like to thank fellow competitors of mine for being so kind and accepting of our 66x entry at Fairmont
